Order before 4pm and your cake arrives fresh the next day. All cakes are baked to order, delivered chilled in our refrigerated vans or by using insulated packaging for nationwide delivery to preserve quality in transit.

How much does cake delivery cost? +

London/Greater London delivery starts from £9.99. Nationwide delivery from £7.99.

Where do you deliver? +

We deliver to all mainland UK postcodes via DPD. We also deliver across Greater London, including Central London, East London, South London and North London with our inhouse team.

Delivery Time & Speed

Can I get a birthday cake delivered tomorrow? +

Yes - order by 4pm today and we'll have your cake with you the next working day, delivered fresh to any address within Greater London.

Is same-day birthday cake delivery available? +

Yes. If you're in London, you can get same-day delivery on selected cakes through Deliveroo or Just Eat from your nearest Lola's store, subject to availability. Just open the Deliveroo or Just Eat app, search for Lola's, and check what's available near you.

Do you deliver on weekends? +

Yes - choose your preferred delivery date at checkout. We deliver 7 days a week (except Christmas Day. Bank holidays not available for postal nationwide deliveries)

Can I book a specific delivery time? +

Yes, simply select your preferred delivery date at checkout. For specific delivery requirements or larger orders, our customer service team can help.

Ordering & Personalisation

How far in advance should I order a birthday cake? +

For all designs, 2 days before 4 pm is required - and if it's last minute, next day delivery is available when you order before 4pm for selected options. Our birthday cakes are available for next day delivery when you order before 4pm, although some cakes require 2 days notice.

Can I add a personalised message to my cake? +

Yes - Lola’s offer free personalisation for all birthday cakes. Simply add your message on the product page before adding to basket and it will be piped onto the cake.

Can I add a photo to my cake? +

Yes - we do offer this for selected cakes. Upload your image on the product page before adding to the basket and it will be printed on an edible disc and placed on your cake. Available on selected designs for an additional fee. A brilliant option for milestone birthdays.

Can the cake be delivered as a surprise? +

Absolutely - just pop in the recipient's address at checkout and add a gift message. Your personal note will arrive with the cake.

Quality, Dietary & Storage

Are the cakes frozen when delivered? +

No - every cake is baked fresh to order. They're delivered chilled, not frozen. Simply remove from packaging before serving and allow to reach room temperature.

Do you have vegan and gluten-free birthday cakes? +

Yes - our range includes dedicated vegan and gluten-free options. We even offer vegan AND gluten-free options! Filter by dietary requirement on this page, or browse our full vegan and gluten-free collections.

How should I store my cake? +

Store in the fridge and best enjoyed within 48 hours of delivery. Please allow the cake to come up to room temperature for a few hours before serving. Full storage instructions are included with every order.

What is the shelf life of the cake? +

Lola's cakes are best enjoyed within 48 hours of delivery for the best taste and texture.
